The Association
The Association Pharmapeptides is a not-for-profit organization under French law. Leadership of the Association is currently impersonated by the President, Prof. Jean-Claude Piffaretti, professor at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Geneva, the Scientific Director, Gerrit Borchard, professor at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences Geneva-Lausanne (EPGL) and the treasurer Mr. Stéphane Bedouet, Parc d’Archamps. Additionally, EPGL is represented by Prof. Robert Gurny, the University of Grenoble by Prof. Renée Grillot, and the Archamps Technopole by Mr. Stéphane Bérard.
The Association’s goals are to promote research, especially in the area of biopharmaceutical sciences, and foster international scientific collaboration. A scientific meeting, covering a specific topic and especially adressed at graduate students and young researchers, is organised annually. On this occasion, the Prix Pharmapeptides is given to individuals who have outstandingly contributed to the Association and the Centre Pharmapeptides.
