Our group examines interactions between drugs and their carrier systems with biological systems on a molecular, cellular and tissue level. 

Our efforts are mainly focused on biopharmaceuticals, including proteins, peptides and oligonucleotides. 

We seek to unravel transport mechanisms of this class of molecules, and strive to improve formulations and carrier systems for their delivery across biological barriers.

We have great interest in characterizing  interactions of these compounds and their carrier systems with the immune system, in terms of both immunogenicity and vaccine development.
